I just completed the 8 wk challenge with Andre the giants gym. I have lost a total of 9.4kg and 5.8% body fat and won the challenge that Andre was running. Andre's training sessions are amazing and intense and work every single part of your body. He is very motivational while training you and always mixes it up so you never do the same thing twice. The feeling of accomplishment when you finish a session with Andre is the best feeling. There were times were I wanted to give up but Andre reminds you of your goals and the determination kicks in. I'm hoping to participate in the next 8 wk challenge Andre runs.
Training with Andre is the best thing that I have ever done for my health. I feel stronger, fitter and love exercising outdoors. I would recommend it for anyone who wishes to improve their life.
Since beginning training sessions with Andre 5 months ago, my life has changed completely. I have lost 20kg and have changed from sitting on the couch to actively taking part in sport and enjoying life. Andre’s motivation, knowledge and sense of determining the appropriate level of exercise has given me injury free training to achieve my present level of fitness. Go AndreTheGiant!
We all work together and Sonja (who has been going to bootcamp for over 3 years) convinced Mel and Sarah to start coming to Andre's bootcamp before Mel's wedding. We really enjoy exercising as a group, meeting new people and the variety that bootcamp offers. We also like that its outdoors and not in some stuffy gym.
Bootcamp has been great for toning arms, legs and abs and has increased our overall fitness. Participating in the weight loss and body fat challenges has also helped give us that bit of extra motivation and friendly competition to achieve our fitness and weight loss goals.

About 2 and a half months ago I had enough of looking at myself in the mirror and not liking what I saw, so I got on the computer to find a mobile personal trainer (PT). As I have 2 young boys and a husband overseas, I can't always go to the gym within the creche timings, so for me to have a PT come to my house while the kids can play is fantastic.
Since we have started, I have lost almost 5kg but the big thing for me is the inches – all together I have lost 11 and a half inches over my body, my legs are tighter, my stomach is flatter and my arms are more toned. I am extremely happy with where I am.
Andre is a terrific PT; he truly cares about your progress and always finds a way to give you the best possible workout wherever you are. Be it your own backyard, the park or in a gym, you feel fantastic after you have finished.

I have been attending Andre's bootcamp sessions since November 2011. Since attending Andre's bootcamp I have increased my fitness levels and have been able to maintain my weight. Every training session is something different so they never get boring and I always get a great work out. I have made some new friends and get to meet new people every week. Andre is a great trainer, he is easy to get along with, pushes you hard during the training sessions and gives great advice. I’m not a fan of gym memberships and Andre's bootcamp sessions are affordable. It’s great to be able to go on the days that you are available, and only get charged for when you go. I have become a regular client of Andre's, and think I will be staying around for a while!
I started training with Andre about 3 months ago. So far I have lost 6 kilograms and many centimetres off my waist. I feel fitter, healthier and happier. I started training with Andre because I wanted to flatten my stomach and tone up the rest of my body. As a shift worker, I also found myself feeling really lethargic, even after hours of sleep. I knew this had a lot to do with my lack of fitness and general well-being, and knew too that becoming fitter and more active would enable me to recover more quickly from those draining night shifts. I have gained a lot more confidence and although I still have a long way to go, I am achieving things I never knew I could do. My stomach is flatter and I am stronger in my arms and legs. I enjoy exercise now and am proud of what I have achieved so far, but my journey is a long way from being over. Andre has a relaxed and positive attitude which makes me feel comfortable while training. He has also provided me with nutritional information and advice to further improve my health, fitness and overall general well-being. Thank you Andre
After losing some weight earlier this year, I was falling back into bad habits and not feeling motivated at all to do any exercise. Going to the gym was not really an option for me, (have been there and done that), but at the moment it doesn’t really fit into my lifestyle as my husband works away, and I have two kids aged 12, who I thought could also benefit from an exercise program. I had seen Andre and his van driving around, and thought to myself, why not at least enquire and see if he could do anything that would fit around my availability, and possibly include the rest of the family. I wanted to do something for at least 12 weeks, to hopefully get my mind and body entrained into some sort of regular exercise.
Andre was very flexible and provided us with a few options that fitted in with me and enabled the kids to come along as well, and my husband too, whenever he could. Initially, after I signed up, but before our first session, I thought, what have I done? How am I going to cope with training with a personal trainer? Is he going to be nasty and harsh? After the first session with Andre though, my fears subsided, and although the exercise wasn’t easy, Andre made it enjoyable and achievable for the average person like me.
We began training with Andre in early July, and have just finished a 12 week program with him. The variety, both in training locations and training program has been excellent, which was great as we definitely did not get bored (a big factor with any exercise program!). Andre met us at various locations around Townsville and provided the expertise and equipment to ensure we had a good workout. He catered for each of our fitness levels, making sure we each had a good workout, but not going to the point of exhaustion. I felt very comfortable, safety wise, that Andre knew what our limits were and didn’t go beyond that.
Also there were times that he knew we could achieve more, so he encouraged us to do that as well. Since we began training with Andre, we have all improved our fitness levels. For myself in particular, I have gone down a size in clothing – I was bordering on Size 16, but am now back down to 12/14. Friends have noticed as well, so that is great. My main focus on doing the training was for motivation to get back into exercise, to get a bit fitter and to increase my core strength. I am amazed at how much my strength has improved, in particular abs and upper body.
Right from the first session with Andre, I know I couldn’t have made a better choice. He has a friendly and witty personality, and is a very down to earth guy. The 12 week program with Andre has just flown by, and when I look back to the start, I realise how far I have come. I have only just begun my fitness quest, and I look forward to continuing it with Andre as a regular in his group fitness sessions.
